Mount Evelyn Primary School zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au.
Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards.

 
Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

 
The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

2025 Foundation (Prep) enrolments

The Department of Education has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

Our school is using the Department of Education’s new online system for new Foundation (Prep) enrolments to Victorian government schools, called VicStudents.

 To get started with an enrolment application at Mount Evelyn Primary School:

• Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form by Friday 26 July 2024.  Make sure Mount Evelyn PS is your first preference.
• We will then review the information submitted and be in contact with you by Friday 9 August 2024 to confirm an enrolment offer.
• You should accept one enrolment offer by Friday 23 August 2024. When accepting an offer, you will be required to provide additional personal and health information that will be shared with the school.

 Remember, if you are in our school zone (Find my School), you are guaranteed an enrolment at the school. For families outside our zone, we are confident we will be able to accommodate your application, in line with the Department’s enrolment placement policy.

What you need to do:

1. Contact our school Mount Evelyn Primary School to book a school tour, attend our Parent Information Evening on Wednesday 24th April, or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process
2. Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 26 July 2024
3. You will be notified of the outcome of your application by Friday 9 August 2024. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should accept the offer by Friday 23 August 2024
4. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2024
5. Your child will start Foundation (Prep) from Thursday 30 January 2025.

Enrolment applications submitted after 26 July 2024 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
